SABP Reprographics has been blessed with an amazing event in nature!!

A new colony of bees has established a hive in a tree in the parking lot of SABP Reprographics.

Bee Hive in the middle of High Rises in Irvine

This is a very unusual event in nature and wSABP Reprographics has adopted this hive as our mascot. We believe this is a  very good omen of a prosperous and positive future for SABP Reprographics.  If you are curious about this phenominon, please read on!

Bees “swarm” when there are too many for the hive.  They create a new queen and lots of them leave, usually hanging out in a tree (like in these pictures). They huddle around the queen until they get established  and build a hive.  Amazing that they’ve drawn comb in an unprotected area.

The reason there are not many bees on the comb  in this photo is because the workers are out getting nectar and pollen, and because they are drawing comb, there’s a queen.  During the daylight, if the weather is nice, most of them are out gathering nectar and pollen. If you were to go back at sundown or in the early morning.  You’ll see LOTS more bees.” This photo was taken just before sunset.
